Task 1: Preliminary

In lesson we learnt how to make a scene with the 180 degree rule, a match on action and a shot reverse shot. When we used the different effects, we used HD camreas to film.



When we use the 180 degree rule we have to be sure of that the cameras always have the same left and right relationship to each other, while filming two characters, or elements, within the same scene.

 



A match on action is about filming a piece of action, and when there is a different camera angel, the action must still be going on.
A shot reverse shot is is a film technique where one character is being filmed, while looking at another character, and in next clip the other character is shown looking back at the first one. The fact that the characters are facing in opposite directions, makes the viewer assume that they are looking at each other.
